Once again I come. Oh Lord hear the cry of my heart, for once again the cares of life and the distractions of my soul have pulled me aside. Once again my flesh wars to come into the quiet of you, to rest in your sweet fragrance and to know that, all is well. My heart cries out for it knows your small sweet whisper to come. Come unto me and I will give you rest. Rest for your day, rest for your body, rest for your mind and rest for your soul. I hear your words of love, cast all your cares on me, for I care for you. I say, be still my soul and know your God. Once again you draw me with your love, taking the fragments of my scattered life bringing them into the wholeness of you. For you were always near, you have never left, but stood by my side, waiting. Waiting for me to hear your whispered call, and take the heart to turn once again. Knowing beyond a shadow of doubt that you are there. Once again restoring, once again refreshing, once again with arms open wide enfolding me in the love of you. I lean in, knowing in your arms, is the only place I find completeness and rest. And so, once again, my Lord, I come.
